Boicotul fotbalului...
Asa cum cluburile noastre dragi de fotbal ne boicoteaza pe noi suporterii… la fel si noi suporterii ar trebui sa boicotam fotbalul. Fotbalul fara suporteri nu exista. Cred ca singurul mod de a opri magaria din fotbalul romanesc este ca noi suporterii sa spunem NU… NU SE MAI POATE.
De azi inainte propun ca noi, suporterii, sa nu mai mergem pe stadioane la nici un meci de fotbal pana cand nu se schimba ceva la federatie. Fara noi, fotbalul nu ar exista si macar asa ar intelege si ei… ca nu se mai poate…
Te rog trimite acest mesaj mai departe, pentru ca numai daca ne mobilizam cu totii putem schimba ceva.

Curtea constitutionala a Romaniei a boicotat aderarea Romaniei la Uniunea Europeana in 2007. Coruptia, lacomia si aviditatea de putere a unora care si asa au mai mult decat marea majoritate a romanilor si care sincer nu inteleg cat de mai bine isi doresc sa traiasca, va lasa Romania in urma inca o data cu cel putin un an.
Nu stiu daca putem combate acest fenomen, dar putem incerca. Va propun un boicot national. Va propun sa-i boicotam pe toti apropiatii nostrii care sunt corupti si care pun interesele personale inainte de orice. Daca aveti prieteni, rude, etc (judecatori, functionari, patroni, politicieni, profesori universitari, etc) despre care stiti ca sunt corupti si daca v-ati dori ca aceste lucruri sa inceteze si daca va doriti ca Romania sa iasa din Evul Mediu si sa devina un stat European, atunci va rog sa rupeti orice legatura cu ei.
Nu mai vorbiti cu ei. Nu mai faceti afaceri cu ei. Prefaceti-va ca nu exista. Sa-i lasam izolati in lumea lor inapoiata si poate atunci vor intelege ca ne-am saturat de ei.
Daca vrei sa se schimbe ceva, alatura-te apelului meu. Este esential sa fim uniti. Este esential sa actionam impreuna. Trimite te rog acest articol la cat mai multe persoane pentru ca numai daca actionam cu totii putem spera ca se poate schimba ceva. Daca tu nu faci nimic, acest tipat al meu va fi pierdut ca multe altele, dar daca ne unim acum, mai ramane o speranta.

It has been a while since the last time I posted on this blog. Since I decided to return to Romania I spent a lot of time looking for jobs and interviewing. Now, that I have finally solved this problem I am back in business and I will be able to dedicate more time to developing this blog.

EU Gives the Go Ahead!

The European Union has voted today to admit Romania and Bulgaria in 2007 with a safeguard clause that the process can be delayed by a year if they fail to implement important reforms.
This is a very significant stept and will have the benefit of improving the Romanian financial sector by providing more stability and atracting more foreign investment. The proximity of the EU has allready boosted foreign spending in Romania during 2004 and this is expected to continue as we go ahead.
This is very good news but we need to make sure that we are careful going ahead so I don’t stumble on the final straight line.

Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees
The greatest rivalry in baseball… and one of the greatest ones in sports. What a better game to start the 2005 Major League Baseball season.
But things are diferent now… different than the previous 87 years… the so-called curse is over and for the first time Boston plays without the pressure on their shoulders. Now they are finally the world champions, they finished their one century chase for the title.
And today, the same “bunch of idiots”, without the magical Curt Schiling who is injured, is back on the mound to do what they love most and do best: “Play ball!”.

"An old man dies..."
This article is not mainly about the pope.
“An old man dies, so a young girl can leave” – quote from Sin City. A great and stunning movie, but excesivelly brutal as most of the stuff that has something to do with Qunetin Tarantino. I won’t talk more about the movie because I do not want this to be a spoiler. I strongly recommend watching the movie… but only if you can hold your gore and violence.
Is unfair to judge life by someone’s age, but between all expresions of heroism out there (“Leave no man behind”; or one my favs from “The Outter Limits” – “A martyr is the one who dies when none of the ones who saves will ever know of his sacrifice”) I think this one stands pretty high out there. You can die for your country, for a friend, for your family… and is very heroic to trade the last few years of your life to allow a young life to blossom.
And going back to the pope, where I started… An old man has died… doing his job till the end… allowing many young lives to blossom… creating a strong example that their faith needs. I am an atheist my self, but I appreciate someone’s devotion for his beliefs till the very end. There is probably nothing else that unites the whole planet in a feeing of loss… and togetherness as the death of a pope does.
May he rest in peace.
